Welcome to White Bluff Resort at Lake Whitney.

Situated 90 miles south of the metroplex on almost 4,000 acres of land, this Texas golf resort offers golf groups the ideal environment for private golf tournaments of any size and makeup. Each of the 31 condos has outdoor grills for get-togethers of any size after your rounds of golf or use the meeting rooms for evening meals and socializing.

Golf enthusiasts are sure to find White Bluff's two championship golf courses, designed by 13-time PGA tour winner and 7-time Champions tour winner Bruce Lietzke, challenging for golfers of all skill levels and exciting to play. The New Course features lush fairways that gracefully wind through the trees and bent grass greens highlighted by numerous water hazards and numerous sand bunkers. The Old Course is a pleasure to play from tee to green with the newly converted Mini Verde Bermuda greens. The front nine is a  traditional parkland layout which prepares you for dramatic views of Lake Whitney and elevation changes throughout the back nine.

Old Course

With a traditional layout and breathtaking views of Lake Whitney, the Old Course can be a challenge to golfers of all levels. Don't be fooled by the first 9 holes; the back nine is completely different thanks to the water hazards and changes in elevation. The Old Course is proud to be part of a 3-year rotation to host the USGA Mens Amateur Qualifier.

New Course

A challenge from the first tee to the 18th green, the New Course will test the skills of every golfer. Water comes into play on most of the holes, which adds to the mental challenge of the game. It's no wonder this course was chosen by the Northern Texas PGA as the home of the Texas State Open for 2003-2005.

White Bluff Resort requires a minimum of 50 players for a “shotgun start” outing. Those events are great because you all tee off at the same time, so you all finish at the same time. This makes it easier for everyone to eat together and to announce winners etc. Shotgun events normally take place early in the morning. If you want an afternoon shotgun, a fee is normally added to offset the course having to be closed a few hours prior to the event to clear the course.

Inside the gated community of White Bluff Resort all of your wants and needs are taken care of by over 150 staff members. Deer are plentiful and very tame and are sure to be seen at night under the wide open Texas sky unblemished by city lights and noises.

We hope you and your group will experience the beauty and serenity of White Bluff Resort together with the two championship golf courses.
